Jolene Juhl ​

Jolene believes deeply in the power of work to help people belong, contribute, and build meaningful lives in their communities. For over 18 years, she has worked to develop and strengthen vocational services for people with disabilities and people living with mental illness, with a special focus on customized employment and person-centered supports. Her experience spans program development, staff training, curriculum design, and practical implementation across Minnesota’s Direct Care and Treatment system and Community Based Services.
Jolene brings both heart and strategy to her work. She is passionate about helping teams see what is possible for each person, then building the tools, training, and supports needed to make that possible in real life. She has helped expand the use of assistive technology in both employment and residential services, supporting greater independence, access, and opportunity. Through her work with customized employment training and curriculum development, Jolene has contributed to learning efforts that support professionals in Minnesota and beyond. Her work is grounded in a simple but powerful belief: every person, regardless of ability level, deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, and be recognized for their strengths.
