Description of ACRE Training Program:  The training is a combination of in-person and online training for individuals who are providing job development and job supports to individuals with disabilities. 

There are 2 online sections; Laws & History, and Benefits and 6 in person training days. 

The training is interactive and covers a variety of topics including; learning about the job seeker, networking, talking to employers, job development, job coaching, teaching job skills through systematic instruction, and behavioral supports.  The training uses an adult learning approach where participants have the opportunity to learn new skills, practice those skills through fieldwork and receive feedback.
