We invite you to join ACRE member Cary Griffin on Thursday March 13 from 9 to 10:30 am Pacific time for a membership webinar on “Training Outcomes: Design Elements that Foster Content Adoption.”  This interactive session will address:
  • ​Tying technical consultation to training (Moving from trainer to technician)
  • Creating outcome measures and milestones € Knowing your role and the expectations of the customer Challenging leaders to “Hire the Person, Not the Potential” (Getting at Turnover & Competence) Engaging top management in training and implementation
I have attached Cary¹s biography to this email, but he is already well known to most of us as a prolific trainer, writer and speaker on behalf of people with disabilities, particularly in the areas of career development, customized employment, and self-employment.  Cary is Senior Partner at Griffin-Hammis Associates, a full service consultancy specializing in building communities of economic cooperation, creating high performance organizations, and focusing on disability and employment; and is currently writing a new book on career planning tentatively titled: Your Vocational Themes: Going Where The Career Make Sense.
Here¹s what you need to know to participate:

  1. There is no fee for this webinar
  2. Email me at lhf4@uw.edu to be added to the participant list.
  3. Webinar/teleconference access codes will be emailed out approximately two days before the session.
  4. This webinar is being offered as a benefit of ACRE membership.  You may have as many participants as you like, but please do not invite non- members at this time.
  5. If you need disability-related accommodations in order to participate, please let me know by February 28th.
  6. Time zone info (because I usually do it wrong): 9-10:30 Pacific time, 10-11:30 Mountain, 11-12:30 Central, 12-1:30 Eastern
